Karim holds a BSc, Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) and an MBA. Karim has considerable committee and board experience and is an active community volunteer. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at various local and international conferences. He has a broad perspective on the workings of the postsecondary system with experience in strategic planning, partnerships, internationalization, governance, financial planning, risk management, policy making and fundraising. Karim has worked in both Canada and the United States. He has also served as faculty having taught and/or coordinated a variety of courses. Karim has successfully owned and operated multiple health care clinics. He has been the Dean, School of Community and Health Studies at Centennial College. In the post-secondary sector, he has held previous positions of Manager, Education Coordinator, Assistant Dean, Dean of Clinics (including Chief of Staff) and Chairperson. He has strong leadership experience in the education and health sectors and has been an administrator, educator and clinician. Rahim Karim is currently Associate Vice President - Partnerships, Pathways and Internationalization at Centennial College in Toronto.
